New PSP?

There's a new rumor floating around about an upcoming PSP redesign. It predicts a complete aesthetic redesign, including a sliding screen, but no new hardware inside.

Another 4G iPhone Concept (from Gizmodo)

This beautiful concept, inspired by the curves and tapering of the Macbook Air coupled with the touch's back, is even better than the cool Macbook-inspired iPhone 4G we featured at the beginning of the month.

The thing that excites me most about these concepts, however, is not the aesthetic aspect of it. It's the the front camera and the fact that people seem to be excited about getting videoconferencing on the iPhone. Specially about the idea of interacting with desktop videoconferencing software on both the PC and the Mac. This is a must for the videochat feature to be really useful, and personally I think it's one of the reasons it hasn't been done by Apple before.

My hope is that they are working to make it crossplatform, either with Apple releasing iChat for the PC at one point or, ideally, working on the connection with existing PC videoconferencing software like MSN and Skype.

Style Wars.

So in my art class I watched a movie called Style Wars, which is about the art of graffiti and hip-hop culture in the early 70's in New York. Now as I watched this movie I began thinking to myself, if I was alive back then I probably would have been one of those guys doing the tagging of trains, I came to that realization based off of my personality and actions now. So as I left class and headed back to my crib I began thinking "there isnt any reason as to why I cant do that now" so....I got to my room and I am ironing my stupid ass green shirt for work that I am already late for, and I notice the can of silver spray paint sitting on my dresser that I stole from a fashion show I was working last year that I never used and I....spontaneously tagged my whole wall in my room, with no thought, or remorse for any repercussions that followed...so that brings me to my first project as an artist...lol...to tag my whole room...wish me luck folks I will keep you updated with pics.

HOLY SMOKES!!

The good people of Kansas City chose books that represented their city. Then the spines of those books were translated into the facade of the public library’s parking lot. Without singing wild praise, this is just a good idea. A close second to Arthur Bryant’s in the stakes to be KC’s greatest place.

Thanks to Crooked Brains for the heads up, they found a similar project in the works in Wales too.
